Making it Happen- Polytechnic student workbook
Building on the success of the MIH work experience booklets for students with disabilities the NDCOTas program has developed a new resource that has been specifically designed for Polytechnic students. The booklet reflects the language that is used in the Polytechnic around Work Experience and Work Placement. The NDCO’s would like thank the staff of the Polytechnic-Newstead Campus in particular Jo Fawkner and Mike Flanagan in working on the changes.
We have also replaced the word disability with the word needs so students who may not identify with having a disability or in fact don’t have a disability can use the booklet.
